We are recruiting for a Clinic Manager to work for an aesthetics clinic based in Hale, Cheshire who prides itself on providing treatments that complement and enhance their patient’s appearance, whilst ensuring the highest standards of medical ethics and safety are maintained. The clinic has a passion for quality skincare, and love seeing the difference in their patient’s happiness and confidence after treatment. As a business, they work as a team supporting each other to ensure that they provide the best patient journey and that they all continue their own personal/professional development with on-going training encouraged and provided by the clinic.

With the exponential growth of the clinic and a relocation to a new state of the art clinic opening in February 2021 in Hale, Cheshire, we are recruiting a Clinic Manager. Whose overall job purpose will be to drive standards, develop employees, deliver on budget, and ensure all patients are delighted by their journey.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the efficient operational delivery of advanced skin solutions by the clinic team
  • Managing the day to day clinic operation, ensuring the highest quality of service is provided for every patient
  • Responsible for day to day management and direction of all clinic employees
  • Driving sales, ensuring all new and existing patients’ expectations are met
  • Supervising and maintaining an overview of the performance of the clinic on an ongoing basis
  • Responsible for the profit and loss performance of the clinic
  • Supervising and maintaining all aspects of invoicing, banking, stock control, and petty cash to Company procedures
  • Responsible for compliance with Care Quality Commission regulations and updating procedures as necessary
  • Controlling stock levels and consumables to avoid stock loss and waste
  • Ensuring all treatment rooms are adequately staffed at all times, planning and managing rota’s, holidays, and recruitment
  • Liaising closely with the Directors regarding clinical performance, audit and patient flow and care
  • Responding promptly to escalated complaints to ensure patient satisfaction, ensuring focus on resolving issues from happening in the future
  • Ensuring all data protection and GDPR laws are adhered to and client privacy is maintained at all times
  • Holding regular staff meeting to discuss new initiatives, treatments, and Company news
  • Liaising with marketing company for all social media activity
  • Assisting with arranging promotional events, including liaison with planners and contractors
  • Responsible for maintaining all general Health & Safety guidelines, policies, and procedures are fully complied with
  • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with all suppliers and contractors
  • Continuously improving team performance, measuring, monitoring, and recording using management reports
  • Ensuring all clinic staff are fully trained to enable them to be excellent in their work
  • Attending regular performance reviews with each employee supported by HR to encourage, motivate and optimise performance
  • Conducting return to work meetings following staff absences
  • Supporting and training new starters on Company processes and procedures
  • Ensuring the standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times

Skills requirement 

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience of HR general practice desirable
  • Experience and understanding of CQC policies and procedures advantageous
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Pabau software
  • Managing and supervising staff
  • “Can do” attitude
  • Effective time management skills
