This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic Credit Controller to join a growing business and is a key function in the company. Ability to communicate in an efficient and friendly manner, ensuring all aspect are controlled and managed in an efficient and timely manner will be essential to successfully carry out this role.

Responsibilities:

To manage all aspects of the Credit Control process and sales ledger including: -

  • Building and maintaining effective customer relationships
  • Achieving company KPI's, maintain debtors
  • Setting up new customer accounts, carrying out credit checks, Coface insurance
  • Ensuring payments are up to date, setting up and maintaining payment plans, liaising with clients to ensure agreed and adhered to
  • Negotiating re-payment plans
  • Dealing with multi-currency accounts
  • Maintain accurate notes on the credit control software
  • Closely monitoring of club accounts/credit limited to ensure deliveries are kept fluid
  • Proactively and promptly dealing with customer queries that arise
  • Weekly aged debtor reporting
  • Month end ledger reconciliation and reporting
  • Support and provide cover with in the finance team

Key Skills:

The successful candidate will have significant Credit Control experience within a Credit Control role of a minimum of 3 years

Possess a proven ability to work within a changing and fast paced environment

Demonstrate an ability to be a proactive and solutions driven individual who can prioritise their own workload and time and meet deadlines

Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels

Exceptional organisational skills; analytical and attention to detail

Strong skills in Outlook, Work and Excel

Ideally experience of Coface software preferential but not essential
