Finance Systems Administrator to join a large brand based in Manchester City Centre. Reporting into the Finance Systems Manager you will be the subject matter expert and will accurately maintain the Master File Management systems for Supplier, Colleagues, Customers and General Ledger by following strict controls and guidelines. To process updates in line with service level agreements and to support the Systems Accountant to ensure quality standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely processing of all work received into the department, so that supplier set-up and amendment requests are challenged & actioned accordingly after following a through verification process.

  • Provide support & co-ordinate the timely resolution and escalation of issues arising on a day to day basis ensuring that own and peers knowledge to deal with such issues is developed for the future.

  • Completion of housekeeping activities ensuring the accuracy of supplier / employee data minimising risk of unauthorised activity.

  • To assist in the production and review of process documentation and the training of new / existing team members and provide support and guidance to them as required.

  • Provides support and assistance to the Finance Systems Manager and the wider finance department, where required.

  • Take personal responsibility to resolve outstanding issues and escalates when support is required from System Accountant.

  • Proactively considers alternative ways to deliver tasks with the focus on improving customer service, colleague experience and reduction in costs.

  • Maintain and develop finance reporting systems in-line with changing business requirements.
