We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Based HR Advisor to join our client on a contract basis until March 2020
Location: Covering London, South East, South Coast and Norfolk
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Day to day duties:
- Support the HR Manager in implementing and supporting the organisational change process
- Defining proposals and preparing business cases
- Consultations and redundancy activity
- Supporting impacted colleagues
- Communicate with absent colleagues
- To work with Managers to identify people impacts and to coach, support and develop Managers to ensure that they manage the change process effectively
- To engage with the Trade Unions
- Record MI and prepare reports
- To maintain up to date employment law knowledge in line with UK Legislation
Key knowledge and skills required:
- CIPD qualified and/or extensive experience of organisational change (restructures, relocations etc.)
- Experience of managing projects
- Good knowledge and experience in employment law/employee relations issues and working with unions
- Commercial and strongly business-aligned, active in addressing the needs of the business
- Strong influencing/interpersonal skills based on passion about people and their contribution to business success
- Retail experience desirable
- A car driver with a full, clean UK driving license is essential for this role
