Our client based in Altrincham is looking to recruit a Logistics Administrator on an initial 12-month maternity contract ...

Salary: up to £26,500

Office-Based: Mon - Fri 9-5:30 / 8 – 4:30 / 8:30 – 5 (Flexible)

This role will be working with both the project office and warehouse bringing the 2 into 1 linking the departments, it will be a computer-based admin role with previous experience required. Tasks will include:

  • Acting as a link between departments (project, warehousing & logistics)
  • Raising quotes and purchase orders through sage
  • Allocating orders/backorders
  • Checking deliveries through courier portals
  • Transferring stock through Sage
  • Purchasing and re-ordering stock
  • Maintaining engineer van stocks
  • Chasing stock discrepancies
  • Collecting data and reporting
  • Producing quotes for project work
  • Updating engineers with job specs

Previous relevant experience is required along with the following key skills:- 

  • Time management
  • Communication 
  • Excel knowledge 
  • Knowledge of Sage
