Our client based in Sale is looking to recruit a Pricing Manager to be the owner of the pricing policy across telecoms, broadband, mobile, water, electricity, and gas products, driving both customer and profitability growth...

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager your day to day duties will involve:-

  • Owner of the pricing policy across telecoms, broadband, mobile, water, electricity and gas products
    • All touchpoints in the customer journey; sales, renewal, retention, mid-contract and out of contract
    • Agreeing and implementing policy across all areas of the business
    • Monitor the performance of the policies and working with the business to implement changes where required
  • Detailed understanding of competitor tariffs, products and propositions and the competitiveness of existing tariffs
  • Owner of the costing and pricing models for all products
  • Assist sales teams in large tenders, balancing customer growth with financial return
  • Owner of the pricing roadmap
    • Periodic reviews of all channels and tariffs
    • Proposing price changes to the pricing committee with full rationale and expected revenue and churn impact fully modelled
    • Implementing agreed price changes alongside the wider business
    • Tracking revenue, churn and other impacts of changes
  • Strong understanding of regulatory change in all markets and its impact on tariffs and pricing policy
    • Staying close to changing industry codes and regulations
    • Working with the wider business to implement change
  • Work with the wider Commercial, Product and Marketing teams to ensure price, proposition and product link together and support growth objectives
  • Work with the Strategy team on potential acquisitions and pricing strategy
  • Work with Trading and Settlements Manager to ensure pricing and hedging strategies are aligned

Requirements:- 

  • Previous experience in a pricing role within a retail or services focussed organisation
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to create performance reports which identify issues and opportunities
  • Able to present recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner
  • Previous experience of stakeholder and third-party supplier management
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, multi-stakeholder environment
  • People/leadership skills, able to lead cross functional teams and inspire high performance from colleagues
  • Experience of a B2B reoccurring services product
  • Previous experience in a commercial role within the utilities (water/gas/electricity) or telecoms (voice/broadband/mobile) sector
