We are recruiting a Product Developer (Apparel) to join an ambitious team of highly entrepreneurial, hardworking people.
Your role will be to work with suppliers to develop high apparel for customers from prototype to final product.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Working with and building strong supportive relationships with local and overseas product suppliers.
- Working in conjunction with the business’s product design team on product concepts, prototypes, testing, and development through to bulk production.
- Supporting internal departments with product-specific needs and expertise.
- Ensuring suppliers meet and exceed the business’s high standards of product excellence, quality, and performance
- Previous experience in a similar apparel development position or capacity is necessary.
Experience & Expertise:
- A natural team player able to develop strong working relationships with both internal colleagues and suppliers.
- Experienced in Apparel Product Development with knowledge of Garment Tech and Order Management.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral as a core requirement of the role is to coordinate information between product suppliers and internal departments
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Excellent computer skills including, Excel, Outlook, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Able to prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Willing to travel periodically as required by the business.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- A strong team player within the department and the business.
