A new requirement has arisen for a Project Control Officer to start in January 2020 for a period of 12 months, it’s an exciting time to join the business.
Your role as PCO will include but not limited to the following daily duties:
- Liaising with Project Managers and agreeing on dates
- Highlighting issues and escalating where necessary
- Manage the risk of delivery failure
- Monitor and report project progress
- Ensuring that all testing has been completed
- Ordering equipment and arranging logistics
- Assist with engineer scheduling
- Client communication
- Organising and managing the engineering teams
- Organise travel and accommodation
- Uploading of reports
- Ensure the workshop is regularly updated with project dates
- Check prestart meeting and engineer reports to capture any equipment needed
- Stock logistics
- Working towards agreed SLA’s
- Quality monitoring and enforcement of standards
Experience:
- Project deployment experience
- Prince 2 qualified (an advantage)
- Strong personality and confident, able to instruct others and communicate well
- Excel – intermediate knowledge necessary
