We are looking for a highly organised, self-motivated Quality Control Inspector who is looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced food Manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy working environment, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To monitor, report and maintain quality, file, and store paperwork
- Check codes, best before dates
- Ensure that correct ingredients are weighed and being used on blending, and sign off that blends are correct
- Monitor and check weights as required
- Scale calibration
- Ensuring correct tub, pouches, lids, and labels are being used
- Overall responsibility for reporting quality issues between lines
- To routinely communicate with the Supervisor/Manager to discuss decisions, and action plans, and share information
- Taking samples of each product
- To ensure that the full PPE is worn
- Assist in other areas of the facilities as and when required
- Ensure GMP is followed during running hours
- Be the quality champion of the department and lead by example
- Be a target driven team member
Desired Skills:
- Excellent organisational, teamworking, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Shift hours: 6am - 2pm, Monday - Friday
