The role of Stock Merchandiser is a key function in our client’s business, ensuring that all customer stock orders are processed internally and externally, controlled and fulfilled in line with the requirements of the business. 

This is a predominantly an administration-based role.

Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Mon - Thu (Early finish on Fridays)

Essential Functions:

To work within the UK Stock Branding Merchandising department and help co-ordinate daily the workload via management of information to and from the: 

  • Internal & External UK Branding Houses.
  • Stock Control Department.
  • Fulfilment Team.
  • Order Management Department. 
  • Internal and External Warehouse Department.
  • Wholesale Clothing Distributors. 

 Whilst also on occasions liaising with the following Teams: 

  • In-house Design.
  • Sales BDM’s and Sales Co-ordinators.
  • Produce Development/bespoke Merchandising Department.
  • Finance Team.

Your Talent: 

  • To liaise with the order management team regarding internal purchase order availability. 
  • To ensure all details on purchase orders are correct prior to send out to relevant branding partners. 
  • To liaise with the picking department to ensure availability of the product is received by the relevant branding house by the required date.    
  • To liaise with the stock control team regarding stock availability at 3rdParty Logistics partners as and when required. 
  • To send both the supplier PO’s (and supporting artwork packs when required) by the necessary date to all relevant branding partners. 
  • To have continuous communication with the above-mentioned internal departments and external branding partners to ensure on-time availability of customer orders. 
  • To co-ordinate any embellishment sampling for live orders in the necessary timescales.
  • Continuous upkeep and management of internal software programmes across internal/external branding schedules, W.I.P, business objects documents.
  • Attend the daily merchandising meeting to discuss the progress of current orders and to plan collections/deliveries for UK branding partners.
  • Weekly meeting with internal branding team management 
  • Continuous monitoring of bulk component stock levels, replenishing as and when needed within sufficient timescales. 
  • Maintain good and effective working relationships across all internal and external contacts.
