We are looking for a Web Developer to play an important role in a technology function. You will gain exposure and participate in:

  • Assisting the management and producing high-quality interactive tools for both users and your fellow team members
  • Creating industry-leading engagement and interactivity in a highly competitive industry
  • Helping to improve the current codebase, to enhance the workflow of the network of sites being worked on
  • Write and maintain custom plugins and themes for the integration with internal and third-party systems
  • Work with project managers and teams to deliver with quality and adhere to timelines
  • Ability to provide user-friendly site administration, documentation, and guidance to content contributors
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and outside development/design agencies to complete projects
  • Work with the online marketing team to make sure the website functions properly for SEO and SEM
  • Solid experience with standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
  • PHP based development
  • Responsive development
  • HTML emails
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Working to coding standards and best practices, TDD etc.
  • Discuss technical solutions with internal colleagues and management, and providing innovative new ideas to solutions
  • Provide accurate estimates of work and timings
  • Site deployment, hosting and domain management knowledge
  • Good understanding of user experience best practice
  • WordPress
