New role: Head of Close Out Division (UK)

Are you a dynamic, successful and driven Head of Close Out Division? Are you looking to join an Entrepreneurial business with a real opportunity to drive growth in a fast-paced sector?

Exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing business who have a broad portfolio of products, with an enviable client list within the major retailers. As our client moves into a new direction they are looking for someone who can lead the strategy for business growth and develop the new division.

This key appointment will report directly into the Managing Director. The objective of the role is to prepare buying decisions in relation to surplus/end of line/discontinued inventories and slow moving stock. You will possess the ability to lead the negotiators with strategies to achieve the best possible commercial terms and prices, to increase sales and profitability.

You will need to be a skilled negotiator, who is confident working with Heads of Procurement/ Senior Buyers, Finance Directors and other senior relevant decision makers across various product categories. Experienced at developing a clear strategy and action plan within a dedicated target market. Building excellent relationships to develop a strong pipeline for future opportunities.

  • Experience of managing supplier relationship at a senior level
  • Outstanding customer relationship management
  • Highly self-motivated with determination to succeed
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • High commercial acumen with experience of high growth revenues/profit
  • A confident decision maker
