We have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Planning & Development Coordinator to work for a leading Manchester business. This role will be a 6-month contract working across the following shift patterns:
Shift patterns; 37.5 hours between 7am - 6pm Mon - Fri and 1 in 3 Saturdays between 8am - 10:30am
What you'll do:
Working in a team of 14 within the Professional Resource Scheduling Team you will accurately manage interim cover for designated regions. You will build close working relationships with Regional Managers, Employee and professional ensuring the right people are in the right locations. This role is all about accurately planning cover using an in-house scheduling system, working within budget, and within a minimum 12-week forward planning timescale. You'll be responsible for taking calls, managing emails, negotiating rates, planning holiday cover and scheduling emergency sickness cover ensuring any last-minute changes and risks are minimised. Ensuring that the cover scheduled meets the businesses professional standards and expectations.
It's a fast paced, consistently high-volume role, so some knowledge of resource management and HR such as managing holidays, answering queries would be of benefit to this role, however, it's not essential as the key skills we are looking for are strong communication skills, ability to deal with conflicting and changing priorities and focussed customer service.
