We have a great permanent opportunity to work in a successful and growing company, who look after well known brands, offering a logistics service they are proud of. Looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to work in the warehouse covering a variety of tasks; goods inwards, picking, packing, returns, stock inventory checks, stock movements.

Working Monday - Friday Shifts; 6.30am-2.30pm & 2.30pm-10.30pm

£8.50ph

Purpose:

To meet productivity targets to ensure that customer requirements are met in an efficient manner, and to work towards the overall profitability of the business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Loading and unloading vehicles (if trained to do so)
  • wrapping products
  • Labelling, shipping and receiving stock
  • Production of despatch notes, pick lists and other relevant paperwork
  • Picking, packing and despatching customer orders
  • Receipting stock into location
  • Performing stock inventory checks and reporting errors
  • Product/Garment processing including barcoding, labelling, ratio/de-ratio, applying swing tags, labels and security tags
  • Steaming/pressing garments
  • Responsible for quality control/AQL checks. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged items are accepted in
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Operate forklift trucks if suitably qualified
  • Operate hand/pump trucks (if trained to do so)
  • Complete daily logs
  • Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labelling)
  • Load finished product onto vehicles
  • Move and relocate stock into storage areas
  • Communicate with operators from other shifts
  • Clean and maintain work area
  • Turn off and make safe equipment when not in use
  • Move waste from work areas to dedicated skips
  • To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
  • Perform any reasonable request from Supervisor

  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure paying strict attention to detail

  • Flexibility
  • Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and scanner functionality
  • Conscientious, organised, articulate and methodical
