The role of Stock Merchandiser is a key function in our client’s business, ensuring that all customer stock orders are processed internally and externally, controlled and fulfilled in line with the requirements of the business.
This is a predominantly an administration-based role.
Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Mon - Thu (Early finish on Fridays)
Essential Functions:
To work within the UK Stock Branding Merchandising department and help co-ordinate daily the workload via management of information to and from the:
- Internal & External UK Branding Houses.
- Stock Control Department.
- Fulfilment Team.
- Order Management Department.
- Internal and External Warehouse Department.
- Wholesale Clothing Distributors.
Whilst also on occasions liaising with the following Teams:
- In-house Design.
- Sales BDM’s and Sales Co-ordinators.
- Produce Development/bespoke Merchandising Department.
- Finance Team.
Your Talent:
- To liaise with the order management team regarding internal purchase order availability.
- To ensure all details on purchase orders are correct prior to send out to relevant branding partners.
- To liaise with the picking department to ensure availability of the product is received by the relevant branding house by the required date.
- To liaise with the stock control team regarding stock availability at 3rdParty Logistics partners as and when required.
- To send both the supplier PO’s (and supporting artwork packs when required) by the necessary date to all relevant branding partners.
- To have continuous communication with the above-mentioned internal departments and external branding partners to ensure on-time availability of customer orders.
- To co-ordinate any embellishment sampling for live orders in the necessary timescales.
- Continuous upkeep and management of internal software programmes across internal/external branding schedules, W.I.P, business objects documents.
- Attend the daily merchandising meeting to discuss the progress of current orders and to plan collections/deliveries for UK branding partners.
- Weekly meeting with internal branding team management
- Continuous monitoring of bulk component stock levels, replenishing as and when needed within sufficient timescales.
- Maintain good and effective working relationships across all internal and external contacts.
