Our client based in Carrington is looking to recruit an Adult Day Activities Co-ordinator to join the team. 

Looking for a candidate who enjoys creating and delivering activities. The role is suitable for someone who enjoys working with people, is organized and has digital skills. You need to be comfortable leading the activities and flexible (both digital and face to face).

Hours for this role are 20 hours per week and dependant on experience (Hourly rate is between £12 - £14 per hour). Should the applicant wish to increase the hours, other services are re-opening soon and can boost hours as required. Flexible working, Head Office and looking to open a new centre in Altrincham this year.

Working in two key areas:- Care at home (Domiciliary, Respite & Social Inclusion) and Day Activities (Centre and Digital Day). 

  • To deliver the day services and organize, create activities for service users
  • To organize and coordinate services in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager, and within the financial plans agreed from time to time.
  • To maintain key skills at the current level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain practices as up-to-date and with industry regulations
  • Develop effective day services
  • Support an open, positive, and inclusive culture
  • Create activities programme ahead of schedule including materials
  • Create and support events for clients in the centre
  • Be responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of your area (Infection control and PPE guidelines)
  • Communicating with the management team
  • Variety of administrative tasks
  • Meeting families and greeting clients
  • Assisting with service user admissions
