Halecroft Recruitment is looking for a B2B Area Sales Manager to join a leading commercial team in the transport and logistics sector. This role will involve a blend of customer visits around East Midlands and surrounding areas, attending the office in Nuneaton, and home-based admin tasks, with a focus on driving revenue growth and managing existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead prospecting and account management activities
- Achieve revenue and contract value targets
- Identify rental, leasing, and service opportunities with new accounts
- Monitor competitor strengths/weaknesses and exploit opportunities
- Build long-lasting customer relationships
- Manage existing portfolio to maximize utilization and profitability
- Work with customer service and risk & collections teams
- Develop product knowledge and stay updated on industry developments
Requirements:
- B2B sales experience within a commercial sector
- Transport/logistics industry experience.
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to function independently
- Clear thought processes and excellent priority-setting
- Strong customer focus and creativity
- Expertise in gaining trust and building relationships
Hours: 40 hours per week Mon - Fri (Managing your own diary - split across customers visits, office and home working)
Salary: £45,000 basic with OTE £70,000
