The role of the Design Co-ordinator is to design and originate printed logos for clients. All work must be accurate and produced to a high standard in line with the requirements of the business. This is a key function within the company, ensuring all branding together with embroideries are applied to the relevant garments.
Day to day duties: -
- To work in the Branding team, designing both printed and embroidered transfers
- To work in a planned and structured manner, producing designs for orders on a quick turnaround basis
- To liaise with third-party providers regarding the client specifications
- Excellent attention to detail being able to amend pre-designs in Adobe Illustrator or associated software
- Using the WILCOM embroidery Studio editing programme to a level that enables changes to existing dst. files
- To work as a team player and act as a flexible resource
Requirements: -
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Excellent computer skills including, Excel, Outlook, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint and Word.
- WILCOM embroidery Studio editing programme experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
- Exhibit the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
- Creativity and ability to think out of the box.
- Detail oriented, resourceful, self-motivated and proactive.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
