We are looking for a highly organised, self-motivated Lab Technician who is looking to join an active and fast Manufacturing facility on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy working environment, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide accurate weighing and mixing of components following standard procedures
- To keep a safe working practice and follow Health and Safety policies and Quality
- Play an integral part in ensuring that hygiene standards are always adhered to and oversee shift clean downs
- Meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping
- Quantitative chemical analysis of finished product
- Ensure daily production records are completed correctly.
- Daily maintenance of laboratory instruments
- Carry out testing on samples from production
- Accurate recording of results.
- Quality Control checks on the finished barrel
- Picking and consuming the finished barrel using Dexterity
- Provide support across the facility on a regular basis as required.

Physical Requirements:
- Lifting containers/ barrels.
- Changing IBC’s
- Bringing stock for daily/weekly mixing into the lab.
- Bringing chemicals into the lab.
- Cleaning the laboratory every day at the end of each shift.
Hours: AM Shift 6:30am – 2:30pm
