Hours: Mon - Fri Shifts: 6am – 2.15pm, 6.30am – 2.45pm, 2.30pm – 10.45pm
Salary: Starting at £18,000/£19,000 rising to £20k after 6 months and after 12 months rising to £22k
- Accurate weighing and mixing of components following standard procedures
- Formulating/concentration calculations of products to be manufactured
- Meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping
- Safe handling of chemicals
- Quantitative chemical analysis of finished product
- General housekeeping of laboratory
- Daily maintenance of laboratory instruments
- Testing samples during production
- QC checks on finished products
- Recording all results ensuring attention to detail and accuracy
- Supporting with stock checks
- Lifting containers/ barrels
- Bringing chemicals into the lab
Requirements:
Relevant lab tech/production/QC experience (manufacturing) background highly desirable
Good I.T. & communication skills, MS Word & Excel
