Currently looking to recruit a multi-skilled engineer assistant to join a growing business based in Trafford Park. The successful candidate will be part of a small engineering team within a busy manufacturing site.
The purpose of the role will be to support the day to day operation of the engineering function of the business, ensuring the production operates safely and efficiently to achieve maximum productivity. It will be a mixture of reactive and proactive tasks as the business is enjoying constant growth, so there is a good amount of project work both new machinery and continuous improvement tasks the successful candidate will be involved in.
In return, the company is offering a salary of £25k - 28k negotiable dependent on experience.
Hours: 40hrs/week Mon - Fri (Working on a late shift: Can be flexible along the lines of - 1:30pm - 9:45pm / 2pm - 10:15pm / 2:30pm - 10:45pm )
Essential requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Ideally from the food manufacturing industry however would consider from other manufacturing/production industries
- Knowledge of electronics would be beneficial
- An interest in learning the ins and out of machinery
